ABSTRACT
Consultation is an indirect service frequently offered as part of comprehensive school counseling programs. This study explored the efficacy a specific model consultation, rational emotive-social behavior consultation (RE-SBC). Elementary teachers participated in face-to-face and on-line groups aimed at influencing irrational beliefs. A modified posttest, quasi-experimental design was utilized. Findings suggested RE-SB useful directly promoting positive mental health among indirectly fostering student success. Implications recommendations for counselors are presented.
