New regional records of Dothistroma needle blight pathogens from Slovakia: distribution, hosts and pathogens characterization

ABSTRACT
Dothistroma needle blight is one of the most severe diseases pines caused by two closely related species, septosporum and D. pini. The further spread distribution this disease were investigated in Slovakia, new hosts stand types identified at regional level. was recorded a natural higher altitude on Pinus cembra High Tatras P. uncinata records are host reports for Slovakia pathogen. Moreover, pini, as country level armandii species worldwide. Mating all collected samples ITS haplotypes pini isolates determined. For five localities with presence both mating three (Dp_HAP.1, Dp_HAP.2 Dp_ HAP.4) reported. Samples where pathogens identified, selected microscopic examination fruiting bodies aimed to detect sexual reproductive organs. In inspected only conidiomata typical hyaline cylindrical conidia identified. state sample nigra needles.
