ABSTRACT
The patient was a 101-year-old woman whose chief complaints were difficulty of breathing and high fever. history the present illness included paroxysmal atrial flutter which untreated, but she had not developed heart failure.At admission, auscultation chest revealed moist rales systolic murmur did clearly show presence fixed splitting S2. X-ray examination showed cardiothoracic ratio 61%, moderate bilateral pulmonary congestion, pleural fluid, enlarged arteries. Electrocardiogram with rate approximately 150 beats/minute. Echocardiographic an septal defect (ASD) ostium secundum type (left to right shunt) ventricular pressure 71 mmHg. diameter ASD 10 mm.She began receiving antibiotic diuretic immediately after died on second day hospitalization.This case could be oldest individual among those reported date.
