ABSTRACT
This paper presents an innovative educational approach to organizing the out-of-school teaching of programming in middle childhood. The proposed DGBL model includes three distinct phases, i.e. learning visual programming, and robotics, electronics. research was carried out during school years 2017–2019. study sample consists 329 primary students from K4 K10 Lodzkie Voivodeship Poland. results were obtained anonymous questionnaires completed by course participants. answers confirm that helps children learn main concepts computational thinking programming. described reinforces essential idea engineering, mathematics technology are intertwined modern world. Moreover, combines balances practical, methodological pedagogical issues is suitably integrated with education facilitate process.
