ABSTRACT
A perforated peptic ulcer is an emergency requiring immediate treatment by laparotomy. Special attention needs to be established on systemic nutritional status. The postoperative early feeding important patients with preoperative non optimum This study aimed examine the correlation between status, feeding, and post-laparotomy surgical site infection in patients. was a prospective observational 32 ulcers underwent laparotomy at Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Hospital Bandung, Indonesia, from October 2021–2022. status assessed using Albumin, SGA. Eleven subjects had severe hypoalbuminemia six malnutrition (SGA C). Early not performed 7 subjects. highest wound rate found 7th day incidence of 18.8%.
