ABSTRACT
The factor structure of the Short Dark Triad or SD3 questionnaire was investigated using a sample adolescents. is tim­­­e-efficient method designed for assessment three overlapping negative personality traits: Machiavellianism, subclinical narcissism, and psychopathy. Conceptually, based on idea that psychopathy, while being relatively independent constructs, nonetheless have common core similar manifestation in interpersonal relationships exacerbate influence other traits. questionnaire's psychometric characteristics were obtained adults. A detailed analysis adolescents available only translated version questionnaire. Our study conducted with 393 participants (average age 15.37, SD=1.17, 54% female). completed 1) Russian edition SD3, previously validated adults, 2) apersonality inventory (Short Portrait Big Five Questionnaire). When comparing means, no significant differences found between younger (grades 8-9) older 10-11) groups. Ananalysis showed 7 items contribute simultaneously to different scales. 4 these are meant diagnosing analyzing interrelations traits, narcissism not shown correlation Machiavellianism.
