ABSTRACT
Sugar substitutes are among the most widely used food additives.Increasing number of scientific research on their adverse effect various body functions has been appearing lately.The objective this is to study sucralose, a sugar substitute, thyroid functional state.Involved in were 30 women, aged 19-28, estimating themselves healthy.The blood content free and general triiodothyronine, thyroxine, as well thyrotropic hormone determined.Thereafter, women taking sucralose for month daily dose 15 mg/kg, hormones mentioned above having tested again.Reliable 2.0, 1.58, 1.46 times decrease respectively, reliable 4.41 increase (Р < 0.001) found.Our findings sucralose-induced level confirmed results other researchers regarding biologically inert compound that should be kept mind when evaluating its patients with endocrine pathology.
