ABSTRACT
According to grid codes issued by utilities, tripping of wind turbines following faults is not allowed. Besides, provide voltage support the mandatory reactive current supply necessary. To enable ride-through low periods special protection measures have be implemented. In this paper behavior DFIG based during discussed and elucidated using simulation results. It shown that with properly designed crowbar DC-link chopper even zero possible.
