ABSTRACT
I. The plan is described of a prospective study the outcome 5,964 pregnancies, with special emphasis on relationship factors in fetal environment to incidence abortions, stillbirths, neonatal mortality and congenital malformations. II. Data are presented overall malformations according sex, race, weight at delivery, maternal age order birth. A. among 5,739 products conception weighing over 500 grams was 7.5%. rate 7.0% infants born alive surviving period, 13.6% antepartum deaths, 23.3% intrapartum 29.6% deaths 70.6% occurring between ages one 12 months. B. following relationships rates live-born period were found. 1. males (8.4%) half again as high females (5.5%). 2. Non-white had higher (7.8%) than white (6.3%). 3.
