ABSTRACT
Electrical breakdown process of ceramics is a complex related to electrical, thermal, and light effects.It has attracted lots attentions.But the mechanism dielectric still under debate, especially for solid ceramics.In this study, with different grain size were sintered at temperatures.A square pulsed voltage 27 kV pulse width 7 s was generated ZnO thickness 2 mm.Electric these investigated using homemade high-timeresolution electric detection system resolution < 1 ns.Compared behaviors sizes during process, it clear that whole could be divided into three main steps, all which can completed within s.The first step pores due field concentration, second boundaries breakdown, then
