ABSTRACT
Abstract The Environmental Protection Agency classifies healthcare as one of the leading energy-consuming industries. Extensive energy is needed around clock in institutions for lighting, ventilation, and operating medical equipment. However, there a growing concern over sustainability utilization by worldwide. This narrative review thus seeks to examine efficiency management conservation techniques make recommendations future optimal usage. paper notes that use different quantities from diverse sources, including hydropower, biomass, solar energy, wind power. consumption varies institution another, with number beds intensity operations, an average 0.27 MWh m −2 . Moreover, this also identified various measures enhance efficiency, such variant refrigerant flow technology combination renewable sources diesel generators reduce cost electricity. Overall, need systems automated monitoring technologies, check systems' efficiency. same can help Middle Eastern efficient utilization. Ultimately, literature aims introduce approach focuses on reducing site-level while increasing quality used hence, helping costs conserving environment.
