ABSTRACT
Herein we present new distribution records of Blastoceurs dichotomus in the State Minas Gerais. Previously, this species had only been recorded inside Grande Sertão Veredas National Park, state Our record is 110 km southeast NP. Given its “Vulnerable” IUCN status and record, it important to reinforce need for surveys ecological studies that assess current geographic distribution, responses habitat loss, fragmentation degradation; factors considered main threats these animals. Doing so will allow more informed conservation priorities be determined.
