ABSTRACT
Myotis atacamensis is a poorly known bat species endemic to the central portion of pacific coast South America, where it from province Lambayeque, Peru (latitude 5° S), Elqui 30° Chile. Here, we report first record M. for Choapa 31° S, Coquimbo Region) in This southernmost within Chile and extending its geographic range ca. 200 km southward.
