ABSTRACT
Introduction: Wounds fatality is possible on instances where treatment not conducted correctly. Moreover, Aloe Vera possesses anti-microbial activities, while ozone has bactericidal and antioxidant effects. This study is, therefore, aimed at assessing the number of neutrophils diameter full-thickness wounds, following multilevel dose administration ozonated aloe vera oil. Methods: an experimental study, based a post-test only control group design, with groups. A total 50 Sprague Dawley rats (250 ± grams) were randomly divided into 10 units, was administered oil, gentamicin ointment, oil varied 600, 1200, 1800 mg/ml. Subsequently, five groups terminated 3rd day, remaining euthanized 7th day. The neutrophil counts obtained after histological examination Hematoxylin Eosin (HE) stain, wound measured using calipers. Results: There significant differences between evidenced in decreased count administering mg/ml, compared to 1200 600 also gentamycin ointment. Furthermore, substantially reduced all treatments, than treatments. Conclusion: Ozonated characterized by capacity improve healing
