ABSTRACT
Trachyonychia is a disease of the nail matrix that can present as either opaque or shiny trachyonychia. Although it often idiopathic, be associated with conditions such alopecia areata (AA), psoriasis, and lichen planus. Isolated psoriasis (NP) mimic trachyonychia, making diagnosis challenging. Dermoscopy, non-invasive imaging technique, has proven useful in identifying NP features. This report presents two cases: one isolated psoriatic trachyonychia another AA-associated In both cases, jagged erythema teardrop-shaped spots on lunula were observed, latter being described for first time literature. These findings suggest potential link between inflammation pathology, warranting further investigation.
