ABSTRACT
Introduction. Impaired motor control in children with infantile cerebral palsy (ICP) frequently leads to mobility limitations. Aim. The aim of the study was assess effect hippotherapy on maintaining postural balance and gait ICP. Material methods. A total thirty spastic diplegia, aged 8-13 years, participated study. All took part a two-week program. Tinetti Timed Up Go (TUG) tests were used investigate quality their gait. performed before after therapeutic horseback riding. Results. After two weeks therapy, statistically significant (p<0.05) improvement maintenance performance observed all children. Conclusion. 1. Hippotherapy sessions significantly improved level 2.
