ABSTRACT
Introduction and aim. Information concerning lactoferrin interleukin-8 (IL-8) local levels in breast milk are not numerous requires further research. The aim of this study was to determine the content patients with lactational mastitis, identify new potential markers for assessing activity inflammatory process mammary gland. Material methods. This analyzed 30 women lactostasis (group I), 37 mastitis II) healthy lactating (age 26±5 years old). determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results. average value 4.78±0.47 mg/mL, exceeding group I 1.8 times (p<0.05). level II exceeds control values 3.1 IL-8 7.3 higher than (3.63±0.12 pg/mL, p<0.05). In concentration exceeded 13.9 (p<0.05) 1.9 Conclusion. analysis has revealed an increase test groups, which indicates activation non-specific protection.
