ABSTRACT
Learning how to lead engaging teaching sessions is critical for faculty development and optimizing opportunities. We developed an interactive workshop provide evidence-based framework designing facilitating case-based discussions.This was designed as a 150-minute large-group session, though 90-minute session possible. Six 10 students per facilitated group optimal. Faculty training requires approximately 30 minutes prior the session. Associated materials include guidelines prepare facilitators participants discussion small-group practice with role-plays. Also included are two prompting cases, template large- or form guide constructive feedback in role-plays, evaluation form.This accepted presentation at national conferences 2016: Pediatric Academic Societies Meeting (PAS) Hospital Medicine Conference (PHM).
