ABSTRACT
The aim of the paper is to study role Facebook as a source political information for Polish media users. combines survey, content analysis Polish-language news items disseminated through Facebook, and computational methods. Findings revealed that has already gained position crucial agent communication across generations in Poland. Most Poles use social acquisition about politics at least once day most popular among them, what especially apparent young people (18–25 years old). Friends family play also an important this process either gatekeepers or opinion leaders. Additionally, our topic (politics) context (elections) matter when it comes consumption sharing on media.
