ABSTRACT
This study investigates the barriers to prisoners' participation in vocational education, as well predictors of different types barriers. Survey data derived from a project remand prison Belgium (N=468) provided empirical evidence for analyses. The results indicate that facing situational and informational are most common. Based on kinds barriers, various non-participants can be distinguished multinomial logistic regression analyses conducted identify what way participants education differ non-participants.
