ABSTRACT
In this paper, a passive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar system with widely separated antennas that estimates the positions and velocities of multiple moving targets by utilizing time delay (TD) doppler shift (DS) measurements is proposed. Passive systems can detect using uncoordinated un-synchronized illuminators we assume all including TD DS have been known preprocessing method. study, algorithm be divided into three stages. First, based on location information within certain range DBSCAN cluster obtain initial position each target. second stage according to correlation between target in specific receiver DSs, find set for Therefore, speed estimated values obtained employing least squares (LS) Finally, maximum likelihood (ML) estimation first-order Taylor expansion joint applied better solution. Extensive simulations show proposed has good performance achieve Cramér-Rao lower bound (CRLB) under condition moderate measurement errors.
