ABSTRACT
Spatial compressive sensing (SCS) has recently been applied to direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation, owing its advantages over conventional versions. However the performance of (CS)-based estimation methods degrades when true DOAs are not exactly on discretized sampling grid. We solve off-grid DOA problem using deterministic maximum likelihood (DML) method. In this letter, basis convexity DML function, we propose a computationally efficient algorithm framework for estimation. Numerical experiments demonstrate superior proposed in terms accuracy, robustness and speed.
