ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT Objectives: The objective was to evaluate the longevity of ceramic restorative materials in manufacture endocrown restorations, through an vitro study on surface roughness and mechanical strength. Methods: Three were evaluated assigned experimental groups (n=10 disc specimens): Leucite Reinforced Ceramic, Lithium Disilicate Nanoceramic Resin. These for before after aging (n=02 specimens) under a stereomicroscope. specimens submitted average test (Ra) (n=10) contact meter aging. As well as biaxial flexural strength (n=10), aging, up speed 0.5 mm/min. Aging carried out thermocycler, with 5,000 cycles baths 5 °C ± 1 ° 55 °. Fragments fracture observed data obtained tabulated analyzed using Minitab statistical program. Results: surfaces do not show changes between also relation For data, material factors (p=0.867) (p=0.321) statistically significant. DIS group presented highest values resistance (p=0.000), LEU REN groups, which similar. same pattern identified post-fracture fragment (p=0.030). Conclusions: interfere performance. However, performance number fragments is affected by material.
