ABSTRACT
Two-phase flows of distilled deionized nanofiltered water and nitrogen gas in a microchannel with height 50 µm width 20 mm have been investigated experimentally, which the schlieren method was used to determine main features two-phase flow microchannel. The regimes boundaries between them were investigated, following distinguished: bubble, churn, jet, stratified, annular. optical methods allow detecting liquid film on lower upper walls peculiarities discovered almost all regimes, such as formation droplets various shapes sizes well vertical bridges. Several types bridges distinguished, movable stationary horizontal Sessile diameters less than 1 located also observed, detected. A comparison regime maps for channels different cross sections carried out, rectangular are shown significant impact regimes.
