ABSTRACT
The method of induced electromotive forces and the uniform geometric diffraction theory are inthe base algorithm developed for calculation input impedance symmetricelectric dipole located above infinitely thin rectangular metal shield. Resonant arm length half-wave resonant at which reactive partof its resistance equals to zero, is determined as a function thickness, dimensions shape shield differentdipole-to-shield distances orientation towards It shown that shieldpresence results in greater shortening than case dipolein free space.
