ABSTRACT
We studied the platelet sensitivity to adenosine diphosphate (ADP) and prostacyclin (PGI2) in order clarify mechanism of onset or development diabetic retinopathy. The ADP diabetics with simple proliferative retinopathy was significantly increased as compared that without controls. PGI2 decreased normal value. There a significant negative correlation between all diabetics. Since effect on platelets is inhibit its aggregation, implies tendency accelerate aggregation. aggregation due alteration considered an important factor microangiopathy.
