ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: The study focuses on probabilistic assessment of the internal seismic stability reinforced soil structures (RSS) subjected to earthquake loading in framework pseudo-dynamic method. In literature, pseudo-static approach has been used compute reliability indices against tension and pullout failure modes, real dynamic nature accelerations cannot be considered. work presented this paper makes use horizontal vertical sinusoidal accelerations, amplification vibrations, shear wave primary velocities time period. This is applied quantify influence backfill properties, geosynthetic reinforcement characteristics ground motions relation modes. Seismic at different levels layers are determined for magnitudes acceleration, amplification, velocities. results compared with method, significance present methodology designing discussed.
