ABSTRACT
In this study, the surface chemistry and morphology photocatalytic antibacterial potential of pure chlorine (Cl)-doped indium sulfide (In 2 S 3 ) thin films, produced by spray pyrolysis, were analyzed. The root-mean-square roughness seemed not to be affected significantly concentration in three doped films (around 12 nm). affect characteristics analyzed study. samples presented a efficiency higher than 80%, but no correlation with was found. assessed against multidrug-resistant bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa, responsible for serious infections, which are extremely difficult treat hospitals. obtained results evidence an increase activity concentration. These encourage further studies support material used biomedical applications.
