ABSTRACT
Abstract Ictal vocalizations in the form of both articulate speech and non‐speech have been described focal epilepsies, with seizures originating mainly from frontal temporal lobe, however, this phenomenon has not generalized epilepsies. We report case an adolescent boy juvenile‐onset epilepsy who presented ictal “ovine vocalizations” (resembling bleating sheep). The EEG revealed a clear correlate time‐locked spikes polyspike discharges. 3T cerebral MRI ruled out any lesion. is currently seizure‐free under valproic acid, after twelve months follow‐up. conclude that may be observed only or structural but also epilepsies; exact underlying mechanism needs to further delineated.
