ABSTRACT
By transplanting the Developmental Eye Movement (DEM) test chart to a virtual reality head-mounted display (VR HMD) system, this study sought evaluate effectiveness of DEM for measuring dynamic visual acuity.Thirty-nine adults aged 20–39 years both genders were subjects study. After undergoing measurement their function, through medical questionnaire, interpupillary distance, near point convergence (NPC), accommodation (NPA), and far phoria, correlation between tests was analyzed performing vertical, horizontal VR HMD (VHD) test.NPC NPA decreased significantly after VHD test, while phoria did not. The quicker than vertical in vice versa test. directions. There no notable difference error frequency VHD. In terms there short-range IPD subjective symptoms top 10 bottom subjects. also exercise non-exercise groups game non-game groups. The performance time VHD, which must be read moving body, longer that DEM. Therefore, based on consistency results lack symptoms, equipment proposed thesis is as effective acuity equipment. addition, demonstrated amount by an ordinary person does not influence function.
