Department of Education released the Regulations implementing IDEIA.Because crucial importance IDEIA to students with disabilities, school personnel have be aware changes and challenges that these amendments pose educators.In this article we will summarize challenges.First briefly review reauthorization process.Next consider influential effect No Child Left Behind two major reports had on Congress when it reauthorized Individuals Disabilities Act.Third, discuss law.We conclude an examination how law directly affect special educators, administrators, teacher trainers.As address topics, caution reader (a) courts clarify many provisions, (b) states change their education regulations align IDEIA.To understand implement appropriately, teachers administrators monitor due process hearings, court cases, state law, regulations, guidelines.
