ABSTRACT
The archaeological artefacts of the Vámoscsalád-Kavicsbánya site were discovered, collected and preserved by István Marton his brother, András Marton, mineral collectors from Mesterháza, in about 2015. slight elevation on a terrace Répce River was mined for M86 highway 2012–2013. Apart knapped stone tools, main subject our paper, several polished serpentinite greenschist tools have been recovered site, which could be use between Neolithic end Bronze Age. Only few potsherds indicated settlement Transdanubian Linear Pottery culture (TLPC). Of Copper Age, Lengyel III Baden pottery fragments clay spatula are worth mentioning. Almost entire Age is represented, most exciting find being rim fragment bowl, decorated with an encrusted geometric pattern both sides, Somogyvár–Vinkovci culture. Given presumed mixed character record (as finds not closed stratigraphic context), we looked possible cultural analogies relationships, primarily those corresponding to system raw material–technology–typology. Although TLPC uncharacteristic, may represent more than one phase, assemblage likely represents industry Middle unit, as suggested material composition, technological features, type distribution characteristics retouched tools. It perhaps even that dealing relatively old, if oldest TLP ever unearthed county.
