ABSTRACT
Crops of Vigna unguiculata L. “cowpea” and Zea mays “corn” require chemical fertilizers for proper growth development; however, its inadequate application contaminates the environment, creating need to search new alternatives that reduce impact. Due this, objective this research was determine effect a biofertilizer from fish wastes on yield cowpea corn, their rhizospheric microbiota. The physicochemical biological characteristics were determined, then applied field under completely randomized block design with six treatments: absolute control, at 1%, 1.25%, 1.5% 1.25% plus fertilizer. 1, 1.25 increased height, root length cowpea; increase percentages lower than those obtained fertilizer In case all treatments aerial biomass compared exceeded in terms number leaves, biomass. addition, microbial fertility soil expressed as colony-forming units nitrogen-fixing phosphate-solubilizing microorganisms per gram both crops. conclusion, positive evidenced, which well an fertility.
