ABSTRACT
The aim of this research is to investigate preservice mathematics teachers' performances on systems linear equations within the context self-efficacy equations. uses a case study methodology which follows from qualitative paradigm. 42 second year pupils department primary education in 2009-2010 academic were chosen for by using convenience sampling strategy. Performance Test Systems Linear Equations was used assess teachers’ solving and Self-efficacy (m=n, m≠n) developed determine levels efficacy. In analysis quantitative data, inferential descriptive statistics respectively. While majority teachers showed medium-level performance, more than half participants had high-levels self-efficacy. presence significant positive medium level correlation between performance an indicator fact that affects performance.
