Sirtuin 1, as a potential prognosis marker in clear cell renal cell carcinoma, regulates lipid metabolism and immune infiltration

ABSTRACT
Clear cell renal carcinoma (ccRCC) is a malignancy with dismal prognosis, caused by the buildup of fat and glycogen. Sirtuin 1 (Sirt1) deacetylase that regulates lipid metabolism. In this study, we collected tumor paracancer tissues from 386 ccRCC patients followed their prognosis over an extended time period. The expression Sirt1 in these was assessed using immunohistochemistry, LinkedOmics database analysis identified differentially expressed genes associated Sirt1. survival curve generated Kaplan-Meier method, immune infiltration analyzed Tumor Immune Estimation Resource (TIMER) web tool. Our findings revealed tissues, but not normal its high worse prognosis. Furthermore, observed positive correlation between perirenal invasion necrosis, leading to poorer outcomes. We established nomogram predict infiltration. conclusion, our results suggest metabolism disorder infiltration, ultimately contributing ccRCC.
