Using a Biomechanical Analysis Approach to the Accuracy of Shooting Throws in Petanque Sport: Literature Review

Study Purpose. The purpose of this study was to determine how biomechanical analysis can be used in petanque shooting techniques. Materials and methods. This review followed the PRISMA standards for systematic reviews meta-analyses. Studies had published within previous five years, from January 2019 July 2023. (1) petanque; (2) were keywords search process. Scopus Science Technology Index (SINTA) study. Results. consists nine studies. In research articles, motion considered, which resulted a discussion direction angle throw biomechanics. Four articles deal with accuracy, leading angle, direction, arc, focus. Conclusions. Biomechanical helps understand intensity, speed, posture better bidding, improved performance, reduced risk injury, while increasing speed efficiency, preventing muscle imbalances, achieving technical positions sports.
