ABSTRACT
We aimed to assess outcomes in patients undergoing sequential intragastric balloon (IGB) treatment for obesity. Consecutive who underwent between May 2014 and February 2023 were identified. recorded including: weight at 3-monthly intervals, progression definitive bariatric procedure morbidity. Forty-five Median loss with first IGB was 15.2 kg (8.8%). 11 (26.7%) had a second IGB, median of 3.3 (1.9%). Twenty-one (46.7%) suitable surgery after treatment. One further patient (2.2%) IGB. During observed during the each 3 quartiles (0-3 months: 10.1 kg; 3-6 2.3 6-9 4.2 kg). There 2 gain 9-12 months. Greatest achieved Sequential did not lead beneficial or surgery.
