Aspectos epidemiológicos de pacientes críticos com Covid-19: estudo de coorte não concorrente

Objective: to analyze the epidemiological aspects and factors associated with survival of critically ill patients diagnosed Covid-19. Method: this is a non-concurrent cohort study information from 205 Covid-19 patients. Results: incidence lethality were, respectively, 60.3% 46.8%. The mean time was 21.8 days, lower were high score on Simplified Acute Physiology Score, shorter mechanical ventilation, altered level consciousness, use central venous catheter, presence coagulopathies need for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Patients oxygen therapy by nasal cannula had better survival. Conclusion: there disease among lowest rate related indicators greater severity clinical picture. results support nurses in planning patient care minimize risk death.
