ABSTRACT
Lithuania and Bosnia Herzegovina are considered as countries with high vulnerability low adaptive capacity to cope climate change. The entire territory of these is characterized by the warming trend, positive trends in both maximum minimum temperatures throughout year. The increase air temperature has resulted change evapotranspiration mean annual water balance values. These also frequently faced an occurrence severe droughts heavy floods. The main purpose this study was determine compare severity changes for two humid climatic zones, order understand how different areas similar characteristics react analyze significance their influence.Monthly weather data from stations, Kaunas (Lithuania) Sarajevo (Bosnia Herzegovina), time period 30 years (1988 -2017) were used balance. The results indicate that a effect on areas. Both locations showed trend reference evapotranspiration, 1.450 mm year -1 1.503 .However, total runoff soil moisture deficit decreasing (-0.480 -2.114 , respectively), while they increasing (0.492 0.485 respectively).
