High performance Athletes dual career support opportunities in the context of the European Union

This article aims to provide an overview of high performance athletes - students dual-career support opportunities in the European Union, order create dual career system Latvia. The paper provides explanation terms, and analyzes UK, Ireland, Germany, Belgium other countries' experience career. In process is created a comparative possibilities for several countries. High-performance main types are flexible exam schedule, individual study plan, consultations with lecturers, distance learning studies (e-learning), mentor's advice, reduced requirements entrance exams. Latvia there not united system, each university tries find their at own discretion.
