ABSTRACT
Increased penetration of wind energy in the electric grid has necessitated studying impact integration on transient stability power system, with urgency to develop appropriate electromechanical models turbine generator (WTG). The representation and control WTG's signals are typically a rotational dq coordinate system whose reference angle is provided by phase-locked-loop (PLL). PLL commonly considered as measurement device often absent existing WTG models. This paper studies DFIG-based response theoretical simulation analyses. dynamics found greatly influence response, suggesting that should be regarded an indispensable loop rather than device, its modeled when establishing model.
