Laparoscopic Management of Omental Cyst in a Child Using Two Ports Technique: A Case Report and Review of Relevant Literature

ABSTRACT
Background: Omental cysts are rarely intra-abdominal pathology. We report a case of omental cyst successfully resected by laparoscopy using two ports only with excellent outcome. Case Presentation: Our patient was seven year old girl who presented complaints lump in abdomen, which aided making correct final diagnosis and the surgical management. Preoperative diagnostic work-up included Ultrasonography Computed Tomography scan (CT scan) abdomen revealed huge intraabdominal cystic lesion unknown origin. Extensive workup did not reveal etiology his problem. Diagnostic led to appropriate treatment complete relief complaint. Histopathology excised specimen suggestive lymphangioma. Conclusions: On six months follow up, is doing well asymptomatic no evidence recurrence.
