ABSTRACT
The given article describes the first experience of a thoracoscopic isolation pulmonary veins and left atrial appendage excision in North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov. clinical case features woman with long history paroxysmal fibrillation, severe atrium dilation, failure pace control drug therapy no effect radiofrequency catheter veins. Additionally, there outlined advantages significance employing method ablation patients symptomatic long-term persistent — if antiarrythmic drugs proved ineffective, as well fibrillation along dilation.
