ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND: The characteristics of the regional features etiological structure nonpolio enterovirus infection before and during coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic were evaluated.
AIM: To assess monitoring etiologies in prepandemic periods.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: Data from forms statistical observation for 20132022 results molecular genetic studies EVI used.
RESULTS: dynamics incidence KhantyMansi Autonomous Okrug COVID-19 was characterized by high activity levels epidemic process, exceeding average Russian Federation 56 times. urban population, with a predominance children aged 6 years, mainly contributed to total infection. During period highest rates 2017 2019, Coxsackie A6 viruses combination ECHO30, A9 dominated, their decline, proportion A71, A16 increased. pandemic, calculated trends 2022 confirmed dominant A71. In same year, B2 ECHO6 increasingly identified, which previously circulated irregularly isolated cases. prevalence CV-A6 process accompanied clinical manifestations infection, as vesicular stomatitis, frequency computer cases recorded most cases.
CONCLUSION: Based on nonpoliomyelitis period, further increase morbidity is predicted Okrug. Genotyping detected strains makes it possible determine spectrum endemic territory predict prevalence, necessary prevent spread ensure sanitary epidemiological well-being region.
