ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND: The reasons for the development of postoperative reactive inflammation under optimal conditions operation are errors in surgical technique and presence viscoelastic residues. likelihood developing ophthalmic hypertension exists with use any type. Its incomplete evacuation can be explained by difficult visualization due to its transparency. Analysis dependence period course on quality removal at phacoemulsification considered relevant expedient.
AIM: aim was study type depending viscoelastics phacoemulsification.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: 104 eyes randomly chosen patients who underwent femto-laser assisted phacoemulsification, divided into 2 groups according characteristics (colored or transparent). Both were split subgroups each method removal. Tonometry biomicroscopy performed 3 hours after post-op Day 1. Patients Tyndall effect examined daily until disappearance.
RESULTS: At comparable preoperative IOP indices, elevation surgery took place 2a 2b, highest being subgroup 2a. greatest number effect, all follow-up periods, found 2a, lowest 1b. total keratopathy (as epitheliopathy) observed 7, four them from 2a.
CONCLUSIONS: conducted research showed that early depends possibility Minimal changes hydrodynamics maximal absence when using colored impulse irrigation method.
