Determination of Main Naval Officer Specialty Groups in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Based on Psychophysiologic Characteristics

ABSTRACT
Background: The modernization of the Naval Forces Socialist Republic Vietnam and growing complexity their technological infrastructure have led to increased specialization roles professional competencies among naval personnel. This process is accompanied by progressively differentiated requirements for development specific psychophysiologic personality-based professionally important qualities essential effective execution duties combat missions. Assessing considering level these specialized personality traits during stage selection supports rational assignment military personnel optimization training across key specialties. In turn, this contributes improved efficiency reliability in performance specialists. AIM: identify required successful mastery main groups MATERIALS AND METHODS: study involved psychologic assessments from various specialties within Vietnam. A set methods was used evaluate neurodynamic psychomotor properties, cognitive functions (attention, memory, thinking), as well motivational traits. addition, expert evaluations trainees’ academic military-professional different were conducted. results analyzed using Spearman rank correlation coefficients r Kruskal–Wallis analysis variance. all cases, measure statistical significance calculations a not exceeding 0.05 (p ≤0.05). RESULTS: identified CONCLUSION: revealed characteristics that support more selected specialty profiles: organizational (command), operational, engineering-technical. pilot demonstrated statistically significant differences terms qualities. most pronounced difference between organizational, engineering-technical, operational profiles compared with observed on Aspiration Specialization scale Military-Professional Motivation Questionnaire, which reflects depth stability motivation master specialty. optimal parameters functional state indicators found engineering-technical profile.
