ABSTRACT
The share of eye injuries in Russia is from 3 to 8% the total number peacetime. Eye trauma one three main causes vision disability and accounts for 22.8%. In wartime, mass admission wounded with damage organ requires prompt decisions on their sorting, treatment, rehabilitation, dismissal, or return duty. peacetime, mechanical associated working population large material costs. Considering relevance eye, ophthalmologists around world are constantly investigating features pathogenetic mechanism, diagnosis, treatment. Retrospective studies based analysis clinical cases, which not always homogeneous. Experimental modeling has a long history. Attempts simulate have been made since 40s XX century. Mathematical models calculated known data: thickness, density, elasticity tissues, this makes it possible predict result exposure wounding agent. Unfortunately, these models, difficult reproduce entire complex pathomorphological changes. created fulfilled assigned tasks but had certain drawbacks. each subsequent experiment, reproducibility improved model approached desired as accurately possible.
