Sustainable development depends on the availability of energy resources and their impact environment.Biogas is a carbon neutral renewable option one leading solutions to climate change combat.As Turkey an importer country, using indigenous sources vital meet future demand.Agricultural activities livestock potential have high contribution economy in Turkey.Biogas production from organic wastes such as manure this context, gain more importance contribute both waste management strategies.Livestock farming has important economic value Burdur.In regard, animal based biogas potential, value, electricity fertilizer generation capacity Burdur Province were determined study.The results revealed that annually 1.45 million tons available be used for 27.1 m 3 /year.This corresponds 135.4 GWh annual could converted heat electricity.Considerable amount accumulated Center and, Bucak, Yeşilova, Gölhisar Karamanlı districts addition, about 50776 tons/year can produced residual plants.
