ABSTRACT
In this study, the allelopathic potential of dehulled rice, and hulls rice on germination weeds was evaluated in laboratory. Phenolic acids growth media these plants were also identified quantified using HPLC. Identified allelochemicals reversely tested for phytotoxic effects seedling barnyardgrass, lettuce, radish rice. The results showed that inhibitory stronger than those Dehulled caused 66.7% 50.6% reduction root length lettuce shoot height, respectively. strong height while exhibited stimulation. Regarding phenolic identification, vanillin vanillic acid detected as exudates plants. revealed most treatments high rates radish, stimulatory activity elongation Vanillic (100 ppm 200 ppm), ppm) their mixture (200 completely inhibited survival lettuce. findings indicate which can be used identification more phytotoxins to produce bioherbicides agricultural practices.
