ABSTRACT
In the fall of 2012, 11% (n=157) clinical practice (i.e. student teaching) candidates at a metropolitan university were in jeopardy not passing practice. Public schools area began to voice their concerns, and placements became challenge. As result, re-envisioned program, utilizing third space facilitate discourse between local school districts faculty. The development was based on program data, which led following shifts program: scaffolded coursework with increased time field; instructional coaching prior practice; system for collecting feedback sustain partnerships.
